Thai Delight is a great new authentic Thai Food Restaurant that recently opened in Ahwatukee, Phoenix, AZ. When Thai Delight was planning their setup and opening, they contacted Blue Chip Signworks, also in Ahwatukee, Phoenix, AZ to design, produce, and install all of the Restaurant signage. Thai Delight rented a suite allowing front-lit channel letters fascia signs and they got a space on the building’s monument sign.
First order of business was to design the logo for Thai Delight. The final design is a nice clean design with palm trees surrounding the name of the restaurant. The channel letters were custom fabricated, along with the palm trees. Blue Chip Signworks took care of all the administrative details of landlord approvals and city permitting, allowing Thai Delight to focus on getting the restaurant ready for opening. Following fabrication, the channel letters were fitted with cut translucent vinyl slightly smaller than the faces of the letters. This allows the colorful look during the day and a very bright sign at night.
The building’s monument sign is located along a six lane major surface street in Ahwatukee. We fabricated new pans for the monument and routed the pans to match the fascia sign. Thai Delight decided not to put the palm trees as part of their name on the monument for a cleaner look. The routed pan was backed with sign white acrylic covered with the same Jade green translucent vinyl used in the fascia sign. The sign is large enough to be seen from some distance by potential customers passing by. The monument sign is very important to Thai Delight because the do not have any frontage or view of the restaurant from this main street. The monument sign goes a long way toward making it easy for customers to find the restaurant.
Blue Chip Signworks handled all of the project management and scheduling on the signage jobs and had everything in place and ready for the restaurant opening. At that point, the only thing left to do was enjoy some great thai food!
