During the past few days, we have put Walther’s new version of the classic 9MM CCP in their hands and asked for their true feedback on the handgun. Read on to learn more about the unique features of the 9MM CCP and our team’s opinion of the gun.
The first thing you’ll notice when you see the CCP is its sleek design. With a length of just under 7 inches and lightweight construction, our team loved how easy it was to carry and withdraw from a holster.
Everything about this gun is designed for ease of use. The rack is easy to slide and as smooth as butter according to one team member, and it’s easy enough to pull back even for our female testers with smaller hands. Walther calls their technology “Soft-Coil” and it helps with the rack and recoil, allowing the gun to be loaded and fired quickly.
The 9MM CCP also features a user-friendly design with an ergonomic handle. Some guns pursue ergonomics for comfort but sacrifice grip, but our testers reported sure grip even with sweaty hands from this Walther.
Even though it’s a very effective handgun, it’s got a very simple construction which allows for easy take down and cleaning. No tools are needed for cleaning, another feature which multiple testers mentioned as a big plus.
All in all, the 9MM CCP by Walther has some fantastic features and depending on your personal preferences it can be the ideal concealed carry gun.
