Learn more about the Women of Steel shooting club at C2 Tactical of Phoenix, AZ. We offer a welcoming, ladies-only shooting experience in the comfort of our climate-controlled indoor gun range.
Our Women of Steel program provides a welcoming environment for beginners and experienced shooters alike. Our expert instructors help guide members who participate in monthly gatherings, while promoting an inclusive setting. The event features social time, discussions, instructor demonstrations and opportunities to spend time on the range.
If you’re curious about firearms, and learning new self-defense skills and also want to create new social connections with women who share your interests, Women of Steel is a place to get started. Our instructors customize the evening to suit every level of experience while also creating an environment which fosters social connection. This allows everyone to become more familiar with shooting sports at their own pace, while making it easy to make new friends.
We believe learning a new skill feels easier when you have people around you who share your interests. Our Women of Steel shooting club brings women together to explore shooting sports, in a shared experience.
Our ladies-only shooting club welcomes women interested in developing their knowledge of firearms and safe shooting practices. Each monthly meeting includes opportunities to socialize, fostering an environment where women can discuss relevant topics and watch instructor demonstrations. Then every session is followed by time on our climate-controlled indoor range.
Women of Steel shooting clubs meet at our Tempe, Scottsdale and Mesa locations on a monthly basis. We typically schedule meetings to take place on the third Tuesday of the month in Tempe. At our Scottsdale indoor gun range the Women of Steel meeting typically happens on the second Friday of the month. Ladies who want to attend the women-only shooting club in Mesa can sign up to meet the second Wednesday of each month.
Each meeting typically runs from 6 to 8 p.m. We start with socializing time, which is also a great opportunity to let the range safety officer or firearms instructor know if you have anything special in mind, or any questions you’d like to ask.
Joining a ladies-only shooting club is one of the best ways to explore the sport, while also making new social connections which could easily last beyond the club setting. A lot of the women who participate in our Women of Steel program go on to make lasting friendships in the community.
We also find that providing women with structured firearms and self-defense instruction helps build confidence and composure, which extends far beyond the club meeting. At the same time, being able to exchange feedback with other women also deepens the shared experience.
You don’t need to be an expert shooter to join the Women of Steel shooting club. However, we do recommend taking one of our basic introduction classes or scheduling some private lessons before joining. This gives you a foundation of experience and an understanding of range safety protocols. From there our instructors can customize the experience to each lady’s experience level.
Our Women's Introduction to Handgun class covers essential firearm handling and range safety rules. We’ll also help familiarize you with a range of handgun types, ammunition, safe storage and basic operation. If you don’t currently own a gun, we have a wide range of firearms you can rent.
If you’re a woman looking for a new social experience and you want to learn more about firearms and personal protection, call C2 Tactical of Phoenix, AZ, to learn more about our Women of Steel shooting club. With meetings in Mesa, Scottsdale, and Tempe, we’re sure to have a spot available near you.
