Learn more about the fingerprinting process required by Arizona’s CCW permitting process. We offer concealed carry weapon permit classes which meet fingerprinting and other regulatory requirements.
We encourage CCW applicants to educate themselves on the legal requirements before scheduling a class or fingerprinting appointment. Knowing the documents you need, where to submit your application and how fingerprint cards fit into the process will help make it a seamless experience.
The state of Arizona accepts two fingerprinting options for concealed-carry permit applicants. The Arizona Department of Public Safety allows applicants to submit their applications online or schedule an appointment with Fieldprint for electronic fingerprinting.
We don’t just offer expert-led CCW permit classes to educate our students on all the legal requirements the state imposes. We also offer fingerprinting services and expert guidance to help make the CCW application process easy.
Of course, fingerprinting is just one part of the application process. Understanding the legal and practical responsibilities of concealed carry is also critical. Our CCW permit courses give students the opportunity to learn about Arizona firearm laws, personal protection protocols, safe firearm ownership and all the details associated with the legal use of force.
We offer a CCW 1: Basic Course which is a four-hour, non-shooting class held at one of our climate-controlled indoor range facilities. It covers firearm safety, ownership responsibilities, Arizona concealed-carry laws and interactions with law enforcement. We also teach students about use-of-force considerations and the aftermath of violent encounters.
If you want to explore the CCW process in greater depth, our CCW 2: Legal Use of Force course examines self-defense law, decision-making during threatening situations and personal protection planning. This class also introduces interactive shoot/no-shoot scenarios in our simulator room. It’s a great way to expand your knowledge and develop a practical real-world understanding of CCW use of force standards.
Once you’ve learned Arizona’s CCW permit and legal requirements, our expert firearms instructors will guide you through the technical requirements of filing your conceal carry application. Preparing all your necessary documents in advance helps you avoid uncomfortable delays.
Arizona Livescan advises CCW applicants to bring a valid government-issued photo ID along with their payment. In some cases, you might also need additional documents, photographs or special approval.
In most cases, you can submit your online application first and follow the scheduling instructions provided by the state. Just be sure to keep your application information available when booking your appointment.
