What Goes On In Our Beginner Rifle Gun Training Classes?
We have courses for beginners and experts, each tailored to fit their needs. You won’t encounter anything advanced in our beginner course until we feel you are ready to move on to the next level.
Our courses work to provide you with the foundations of firearms and how to use a rifle. We also offer options for the shotgun and pistol if you want to try another variety.
We have two beginner courses for the rifle – Introduction to Rifle and Introduction to Precision Rifle. Let’s talk about what you should expect in either class.
In our Introduction to Rifle course, you will experience the following:
- Learning basic course objectives, such as types of rifles and universal firearm safety
- Understanding safe storage and handling
- How to load and unload the rifle
- Benchrest position for practical shots
- Three hours of classes, one hour of range time
It’s a quality course and a necessary experience if you want to shoot a rifle.
There’s also our Introduction to Precision Rifle course, where you will experience the following:
- The basics of firearm safety with a rifle
- Various positions for precision shots
- Low ready position
- HIgh ready position
- Shooting standing with precision
- Practical reloading on the move
- Precision shots from 100 to 1,000 yards away
It’s a different experience and a prerequisite to our Outdoor Precision Rifle class.
