For some, it can be hard to learn in a group setting. You may feel judged or pressured to perform well. For others, learning in a group setting just simply doesn’t fit their style and pace. Unfortunately, there are very few options for private shooting lessons, much less affordable ones.
However, at our gun range we make it our mission to be able to provide and accommodate shooters of any kind looking to improve. That’s why our private lessons are affordable and flexible to fit in your routine schedule. These are an amazing option for all shooters to get one-on-one attention with our expert instructors and learn to shoot at a pace that works for them.
There are so many benefits to taking a private lesson, even if group classes work for you. Check out all the reasons below!
Why Take a Private Lesson?
Taking a private lesson is one of the fastest ways to improve in any skill. With our instructors having their attention wholly on you, they can catch the small bad habits that are impeding your progress. Plus, with a private lesson you can go at the pace you need to make sure you fully understand everything our instructors teach you.
Private lessons are also completely customizable. If you’ve had a certain firearm just laying around your home because you don’t know how to use it, private lessons can teach you! If you have a certain aspect of shooting that you want to hone in on, private lessons can be wholly dedicated to that! It’s whatever you want to work on, and that’s something you can’t find with a set class curriculum.
What’s Included in a Private Lesson?
Our private lesson fee is one of the most affordable ones on the market. The fee covers 1 pistol rental from our range and the instructor’s time. It does not cover ammunition, so you will need to either purchase that when you arrive or bring approved ammunition from home.
In terms of curriculum, the private lesson is entirely dependent on your goals and shooting aspirations. Since you are the only student, you get to focus on anything you want! If that’s marksmanship and accuracy or defensive manuevers, our instructors and ready to help you immensely improve.
Can I Bring a Friend?
One of our most frequently asked question about private lessons is if you can bring a friend with you. We totally get that learning to shoot is more fun with others! So, we do allow for private lesson students to bring 2 friends with them for a small extra fee. However, if you start bringing 3 or more friends, our instructors find it hard to devote the attention they want to give to you.
If you are looking for a shooting lesson but want to isolate it to only your group, we do offer group private lessons! These are made for groups of 4 or more. Knowing the group will be larger helps our instructors be more prepared for the lesson and give the most attention to students.
