About the Concealed Carry Classes
Our concealed and carry classes prep students to be able to live a responsible and confident life as a CCW. Each class teaches practical aspects of carrying and shooting as well as the legal knowledge necessary to fulfill permit requirements.
The class schedules are flexible to meet your busy life with personalized guidance throughout the course. The personalized guidance also continues to help these classes cater to all levels because CCW is not a one-size-fits-all licensure program. We make sure anyone who is interested in CCW licensure can go through these classes and leave with the confidence of an experience shooter.
AZ Concealed Carry Basics (CCW4)
The first class in the series is our CCW basics class. This class is meant for people who are interested in becoming CCW licensed. Your prior shooting experience and skill level doesn’t matter, this class is opened to anyone 21+ looking to start the licensure program.
Our basics class is specifically catered for the AZ CCW permit application process. It is 4 hours of classroom time to equip our students with the legal and practical knowledge to successfully submit an application to the AZ Department of Public Safety and become licensed.
The most unique part of this class is our instructors’ knowledge. Our instructors come from law enforcement backgrounds and impart this knowledge onto the students. It helps them to be able to deal with law enforcement as a CCW as well as conflict aftermath.
Every Day Carry Principles (EDC)
This is the second class in the series and an absolute MUST for anyone CCW licensed. 4 hours of complete range time helps students learn the best practices with their chosen carry weapon including dealing with malfunctions, reloading, firearm defense, retrieval, and shooting, and drawstroke concepts and techniques.
The interactive part of this class caters to all skill levels and helps students to understand the mindset and realities of a gun fight. Students leave this class not only with evolved and improved skills, but more confidence in themselves to effectively deal with a threatening situation should they ever encounter one.
Judgmental Shooting in the Home
The final class in our CCW series uses our state-of-the-art simulator to continue training and perfecting a shooter’s skills and mindset. Instead of simply being in the classroom or on the range, students in this class train their skills in context and learn to determine threats and analyze their surroundings.
This class includes one-on-one time with an instructor for coaching and debriefing after each simulated scenario to learn your mistakes and how to effectively improve your skills and decision making. While we hope that you will never have to encounter these dangerous situations in your home, it’s best to be prepared and know you can rely on yourself and your basic fundamentals to protect you and your family.
