C2 Tactical offers the absolute best rifle training classes in the state. Whether it’s complete beginners picking up a rifle for the first time, or seasoned pros looking to continue learning new things and perfecting their rifle technique, we’ve got classes for everyone. Each of these courses is taught by our highly trained, knowledgeable, NRA-certified instructors. Many of them come from military and law enforcement backgrounds and bring their unique knowledge and experience to the classroom every day. Onsite Courses Introduction to Carbine (Rifle 100) The first in our three-part series for complete beginners to understand the fundamentals of rifles. This introduction course focuses on the safe use of AR15s and AK47/74 carbine platforms as well as covering the history and development of these guns. Additionally students will learn all the basic skills and knowledge they need to feel confident in themselves while holding a rifle. Carbine Fundamentals (Rifle 200) This course builds off of it’s pre-requisite Rifle 100 and begins utilizing the rifle itself. Focus areas include close-quarters personal protection inside and outside the home, tactical shooting positions, malfunction clearances, and reloading techniques. This class also participates in live-fire drills and multiple target engagement, so students learn all the basic skills they need to feel ready to use a rifle if the need should arise. Practical Carbine (Rifle 300) The final course in our 3-part series for beginners finishes out the cumulative curriculum with more advanced techniques and the addition of a tactical pistol. Like Rifle 200, this class includes classroom work, live-fire drills, and hands-on dry practice. Some of the more advanced skills students will learn include advanced shooting positions, search and assess for threats, barrier transitions, and suppressive fire techniques. After taking this class students should feel completely ready to handle what the world brings them with their rifle. Intro to Precision Rifle (Intro to PR) This class is meant to build the long-range abilities of our rifle students. It provides all the knowledge and skills needed to confidently and correctly set up your rifle and assess the environment for best accuracy at long distances. This class is great for those looking to start hunting or try out competitive long-range shooting. Offsite Courses Precision Long Range Rifle This three-part course series are meant to improve long-range shots as well as push your shooting abilities to their limits. Beginning with precision engagement of targets with equipment and ammunition limitation, and going through small distant targets and eventually competitive shooting and hunting tactics, students will be able to hit anything after completing this series. Defensive Carbine Operator This is an intermediate level course meant for those who want to practice and apply their rifle skills in an outdoor shooting environment. This course goes through almost every basic skill shooters need to know such as set-up and gear selection, zeroing your carbine, reloads and stoppage clearances, shooter movement and target engagement, bilateral rifle operations, and transitional shooting. Students leave this class confident about their ability to defend using a rifle. Advanced Carbine Operator This is the most advanced class we offer for rifle users. It is meant for those who want to get down into the details and truly master everything about the rifle. It has high pressure drills, advanced handling techniques, and high-pressure situation practice. After this class, students leave feeling absolute confidence in their abilities, habits, and use of a rifle.
