AZ Concealed Carry Basics
This class covers all the information needed to be able to successfully apply for a CCW license from the Department of Public Safety in Arizona. It is important to understand that completing this four-hour class does not certify the student for concealed carry but makes the application and approval process much easier.
For this course, the instructors provide personal guidance for each student. Many of them have background in law enforcement agencies and apply their experiences to help students understand navigating certain situations. Their unique knowledge will specifically be used to help students learn and understand the intricacies of conflict aftermath so that when confronted by law, our students can approach with confidence. This instruction is very difficult to find elsewhere and makes our classes unique.
Everyday Carry Principles Class (EDC)
This class is an absolute must for any CCW people regardless of their experience or shooting skill. The interactive course is built to teach the best practices for carrying the student’s chosen firearm including how to defend it, retrieve it, and shoot it quickly. This course is taught completely in the range so the entire time can be dedicated to developing shooting skills and learning to perform at a high level.
Some of the focus areas for this course include: basic & advanced draw stroke concepts & technique, ambidextrous pistol operations, malfunctions & reload, shot placement, mindset & realities of a gun fight, and an introduction to shooter movement. Students must have a valid CCW permit to participate in this course, however, the class is design for all shooting levels.
Judgmental Shooting in the Home
The final class in our CCW course series is all about learning to analyze situations and know how to determine the best actions to take. It uses our state-of-the-art interactive video simulator to help students train their skills in context and within pressure situations. These situations will focus on ones that are more probable to be encountered in or near your home with or without family. After each simulation, our instructors have a debriefing session so students know how to improve and also can decompress with support from the high-stakes defense.
