One of our most popular classes is the concealed carry (CCW) course. This course prepares its students for the lifestyle of concealed carry including practicalities and the legal knowledge the is required. This class is meant to meet your needs and can be customized to shooters of all levels. Our high-level instructors use their extensive experience to personalize the course for you.
There are three classes that comprise our CCW course list. Each one is designed for the students to understand the fundamentals of the CCW life. This includes the basics of getting licensed, everyday principles to follow, as well as practical usage of shooting in the home. We encourage students to go through all three of these classes to ensure they are getting the information and skills imperative to being a responsible CCW shooter.
AZ Concealed Carry Basics
The fundamentals in this course are for beginners who want to get licensure to CCW Arizona. However, this course will not certify you, it only gives you the knowledge you need to be able to successfully submit a permit application to the Arizona Department of Safety. It is important to understand that CCW permits differ from state to state, so even if you are licensed elsewhere, we encourage attending this class so you understand what it takes to get licensed in AZ.
There are so many benefits to getting CCW licensed. In AZ, the Department of Public Safety pre-approves you to buy a firearm meaning there is no mandatory background check. It also allows you to bring your concealed firearm in National parks and liquor stores (unless posted otherwise) within AZ. Finally, getting licensed in AZ gives you a permit to combine carry in 37 states.
We offer a few unique features within our CCW course. Many of our instructors have experience working with law enforcement agencies and bring this knowledge to our class. Because of this unique knowledge accessibility, students in this class are taught how to interact with law enforcement and deal with conflict aftermath when in CCW situations.
Everyday Carry Principles
The CCW lifestyle has many different aspects and facets that people need to be aware of. This course is specifically designed for any and all shooters that engage in this lifestyle. It contains 4 hours of range time and is open to all shooting levels with the intention of developing and advancing your skills to leave feeling more confident about your shooting skills.
You must already be licensed to conceal and carry before taking this course.
Judgmental Shooting in the Home
Part of the CCW lifestyle means being permitted to have a gun in the home. However, this can be a bit stressful and incur judgment on the style of living. This course uses our interactive simulator to go through some situations that can occur with a gun in the home. You will be given threat scenarios that are possible to encounter in the outside world and be coached on how you handled them.
