At first glance, my client appeared to be highly successful. His company was profitable, and he had a loyal base of customers. This belief was causing him a great deal of stress and preventing him from enjoying his success. I helped him see that his company was strong and that he had built a team of capable people who could handle the day-to-day operations while he took some time off. THE SOLUTION:
I created a custom business coaching plan for my client that reviewed their business practices and skills and developed a roadmap for future operations. This plan was tailored specifically to their needs and helped them identify areas where they could improve their business operations. Additionally, the coaching plan provided my client with a clear path forward and allowed them to develop a set of concrete goals to work towards.
As part of the custom business coaching plan I created for my client, I developed metrics for goals in every department. This allowed us to focus on areas that needed improvement and identify potential growth areas. In addition, we placed a strong emphasis on communication skills. This compass was crucial in helping my client build relationships with key stakeholders and maintain a positive work/life balance. Lastly, I created a goal for my client to finally take a vacation in his first 180 days and set a goal to schedule a holiday within 90. This goal served as a reminder that self-care is essential and provided motivation to continue working hard. More importantly, it would signal to my client that he had the ongoing support to continue to support his operations.
THE RESULT:
After implementing the custom business plan, the client realized he could take a vacation without letting his business fail. He planned a vacation within 60 days and went on vacation within 180 days. The client was able to relax and enjoy his vacation while knowing his business was in good hands. This increased his confidence in the company and made him more likely to recommend the service to others. Overall, the custom business plan allowed the client to take a much-needed vacation without sacrificing his business.
As a result of my custom coaching plan, my client was able to continue to thrive in his business operations by having the support of his team. The quality of my client’s life, his family, and all employees’ lives improved dramatically after greater flexibility. After years of being bogged down by the 9-5 work day, my client has found new ways to improve his business by maximizing employee productivity and supporting a healthy work-life balance. This was evident in his team’s ability to achieve goals and create new opportunities for the company. My client’s personal life also benefited from the coaching plan, as he could spend more time with his family and enjoy his hobbies. Overall, the coaching plan proved to successfully improve my client’s quality of life and maintain his business intact.
