Communication Training from a Business Coach

INTRO:

Hi, my name is Danny Creed, and I’m an internationally renowned Master business coach. I’ve helped start and grow many companies in many industry sectors throughout my career, and I can also help your business or corporation. I work with business owners, entrepreneurs, and executives to grow and prosper in any economy. Below is a quick story about a client I helped and what measurables we achieved in a short timeframe.

THE CLIENT:

My client’s business was in a place of stagnation due to ongoing fighting by family members. This tension resulted in a lack of internal communication, teamwork, and leadership, which eroded trust in employees and affected operations. The business was in a difficult position, and my client struggled to find a way out.

The company was in a state of crisis, and as a result, they were driven by process and orientation. The environment was hostile, combative, and unhealthy. This space began to affect sales, productivity, and the ability to keep good employees. To change this, they needed to create a new environment that was positive and supported their goals. But how to seek change when there was so much chaos to take care of? The business was in a difficult position, and my client struggled to find a way out.

THE SOLUTION:

As a business coach, I work with my clients to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals. With this particular client, the issue boiled down to communication. To address this problem, we created an action plan that involved sitting down with everyone in an ownership/family position and “forcing” them to identify an organizational chart with clear lines of communication. This process allowed my client to better understand his workforce and create a more effective structure for communication and accountability.

A business plan is vital for any company to establish what the priorities are and how to tackle them. Without a strong strategy, it would be challenging to gauge what needs to be done to move the company forward. One of the critical elements of our business plan was identifying “fires” that needed to be put out immediately. Without the space to breathe, it would be impossible to address the core problems. These were issues that were holding us back from achieving their goals, and they needed to be addressed as soon as possible. The client’s team also committed to better communication and trust within the company. They understood that these factors were essential for us to work together effectively towards their common goals.

THE RESULT:

As a business coach, I often see clients struggling with negativity within their company. This situation can be a very draining and demotivating environment, and it can quickly lead to a decline in productivity. This was precisely the issue with this particular client. After business coaching, the client was able to identify the need for one of the family members to leave the company. This was a difficult decision, but it was ultimately the right one for the client’s business. As a result of making this change, the negativity slowly but surely stopped, and the company began to thrive again.

It is always gratifying to see the results of one’s work, and this was certainly the case with my business coaching client. When I began working with them, they were in a difficult situation. Sales were down, morale was low, and their reputation was at risk. However, due to my work as a business coach, they turned things around. Sales grew, and pride in employment returned. They have a plan to continue their progress and build on it. I am confident they will achieve their goals, and I am proud to have played a part in their success.
