Below is a quick story about a client I helped and what measurable we achieved in a short timeframe.

THE ISSUE

Realtor business owners or professional realtors often have a great start. However, as time goes by, it gets harder to bag projects and generate revenues. This slows down or stagnates business growth, causing frustration and desperation for the realtors.

The issue is that most real estate agents face a roadblock after initial success because they do not have the skills to generate brand new leads. With experience, they learn where they can go to find new leads for the business. However, connecting to people is one thing, and converting them into clients is a completely different ballgame.

Real estate agents will attend open houses to find potential clients. However, that is not the best way to generate leads. You need to focus on the right source or channel to find clients in the niche you specialize in. This requires a certain level of business acumen to promote your real estate services.

Something similar happened to one of our clients, who was once a successful realtor and gained prominence due to his great looks, handsome personality, and hard work. However, as time went by, all the traits that raised him to prominence were not getting him enough business and revenue as he initially dreamed of having.

So what was the issue? Well, he was a great realtor with plenty of knowledge about the field out there. However, he was not a very sound business person, which left him struggling to grab the opportunities.

What once became a very lucrative industry for him became a domain that was not offering much revenue or new business for our client. THE SOLUTION

We sat down with the client and understood the struggle with generating revenue and what he would want to achieve. The next step for us was to create a customized business coaching solution/program that our client had to follow.

This program included a customized prospecting system that pushed our client to think out of the box, contrary to a conventional realtor prospecting. However, our business coaching program focused on long-term business planning. The focus was dealing with closing and objection techniques for business stabilization and consistency of growth and revenue.

THE RESULT

Our client has expert knowledge of the market but does not know how to use this information to acquire new business or retain existing clients. We analyzed the client’s goals, objectives, and operations and designed a business coaching program.

Our program streamlined all our client’s professional skills with his long-term real estate sales goals. Our business coach planned a customized plan that complemented our client’s existing skillset, persona, and services he offered as a realtor.

As our client started implementing the long-term business planning by our business coach, the business started stabilizing. The skills development techniques and systems customized according to his business goals helped establish him as a proficient realtor in the industry.
