The Covid-19 pandemic affected many world industries, and entrepreneurs had it worse as many businesses had to shut down and didn’t have the facilities to move their services online. Many businesses found it difficult to embrace the new norm, and the few that did, managed to survive the pandemic. Fast forward to 2021, after the ease of lockdown, it was still difficult for businesses to get back on their feet because of the immense losses suffered in 2020. Even to date, a lot of businesses are yet to recover from the impact of the pandemic fully. Many more businesses have had to shut down in the past year, and a lot more are still on the verge of survival as they continue to drown in fear, confusion, and doubt. The sad part is that only a few businesses learned from the events of 2020 and developed means to survive in such situations. We had one major goal in 2021, and it was helping our clients to build and maintain a possibility mindset and get rid of the fear that came with the impact of the pandemic. The negative reports about businesses that had to close down and the ‘what it’ stories of those who managed to survive have kept many business owners in fear. Irrespective of all the chaos in the business sector, I have been able to encourage my clients to build and maintain a possibility mindset because this would help develop other skills like possibility goal setting, possibility problem solving, possibility planning, and possibility leadership. We have decided to concentrate on new business solutions that will stand the test of time, and for this, I have helped my clients sharpen their skills, learn new skills, and improve in their areas of weakness. It’s been almost two years of practicing possibility thinking, and all my clients are back on their feet. My clients have recorded significant business growth for two years while other businesses suffered. Some of them racked up double/triple-digit earnings, productivity, and significant improvements in personal development. Our goal is to be able to operate our businesses irrespective of the situation or current events, and so far, we’ve attained our goals. The possibility mindset has to do with preparing for future events and moving from the ‘cannot’ mindset to the ‘can’ mindset. The goal of mastering the possibility mindset is to remove yourself from current events and think about the possibilities. It is easy to give up when everything you know that should work fails. A possibility mindset is important for every business owner as it enables them to see business possibilities and think outside of the box. This would come in handy when conventional methods of running a business fail and something new is needed to make it work.
