Can you believe this all started with the Germans? There is a law that all German taxis be beige in color. That is great for taxis, but when these taxis go out of service – try selling a beige used car. It was a “pink elephant” on the used car lots. In 1993 one company bought a black Mercedes E class and attempted to wrap it in beige for taxi use. It worked, and at the end of the vechicle use as a taxi – they unwraped it and found a beautiful scratch free paint job that actually was better than any other high mileage car on the lot.   Fast forward to now and there is a growing market for car wraps. Two types of wraps are most of the market     1) vehicle wraps for businesses and           2) cosmedic wraps or color changes on high end cars. Is it time to wrap your vehicle?
