In the case of a recent customer of ours, Try City Patrol, it was a little bit different. Tri City Patrol contacted us because they needed graphics for of fleet of their patrol cars, and as a security company, their job is to prevent crime and chase away potential criminals.
Tri City Patrol has been helping to keep neighborhoods and businesses safe throughout North County San Diego since 1981. Their service is unique in that they offer a combination of personalized service, timely presence and knowledgeable personnel, who are largely former police and military. If you’re from the area you’ve probably seen one of their patrol cars before. You can see an example of the graphics we installed on one of their fleet vehicles in the images above and below.
One of the challenges for this project was making sure the graphics would be highly visible, even at two in the morning, so their patrol cars could be seen everywhere, including dark streets. As you can see in the images in this article, the design is very simple and clean. But it’s also reflective vinyl. This type of reflective vinyl is particularly good in low light conditions and high contrast environments.
These vehicles are designed to attract attention and project a presence. If these cars are noticed, the first time and every time, it creates the impression that Tri City Patrol is everywhere. It’s a direct deterrent to crime, and a direct message to criminals.
