Do you own, or are you starting a new solar business?
A combination of rising electrical rates and a high percentage of direct sun exposure year-round make Southern California the perfect place to start a solar installation business. If you are starting a new solar business, or are currently running one, give us a call if you have any questions about your signage. We’re a full service sign and graphics company located in Oceanside, CA and we serve the entire greater San Diego area. We can help with anything and everything related to signs!
Recently, we installed a building sign and a lobby sign for Coastal Solar, a solar company located in San Diego, CA. They called us because they are a smaller company, located in a bigger market, and they were looking for a good way to stand out amongst their competition. One of the best ways to get your business noticed, and bring new customers to your doors, is with a few good old-fashioned signs. The exterior building sign, seen in the image below, makes it easy to see their location from far away. And the interior lobby sign, seen in the image above, helps to carry their brand into their offices.
For their building sign, we used custom cut vinyl letters, matching their unique font. We chose a seven year rated vinyl material for maximum durability because it will be exposed to the sun and elements. Their black glass windows really make their white letters pop, and create a stark contrast that can catch your eye from far away. The difference in contrast also help to make the sign more legible from a distance.
For the lobby sign we used aluminum brushed letters that give the sign a very professional, high-end look. But metal letters can get expensive, so one option we have, which we did for Coastal Solar, is to use brushed metal faced letters that still give the same look without the expense of 100% metal letters.
Most industrial leases include a sign policy. The nicer locations have more detailed and often restrictive policies, but also project a more professional image. Signs for San Diego has worked with a large number of these sign policies and can find the correct balance between compliance and your ability to stand out from the crowd.
