This winter in the Bay Area has been unusually tough. With the coldest and wettest weather in many years, a number of vicious colds and flus are circulating. I’m pleased to be able to support my patients with immune-enhancing acupuncture and herbs to ensure that they’re resilient throughout the season. Last season I had the pleasure of working with a 62-year-old woman who was constantly getting sick. Within the last year, Annalisa had pneumonia once and bronchitis twice, and was forced to be on daily asthma medications. She had a raspy voice and continually felt like she had to clear her throat.
