Impression Signs and Graphics of Oakdale, MN recently completed a vehicle wrap project for Region’s Hospital Emergency Medical Services. This wasn’t a typical car advertising project, instead, it involved applying reflective graphics to Regions EMS’ new “toy”, a brand new Polaris Ranger 6 wheel ATV. This vehicle will be put to good use at events where emergency vehicle access is often not well suited for traditional emergency vehicles, such as the Red Bull Crashed Ice Competition, as well as various “mud runs” and extreme events where both rough terrain and injuries are both commonplace.
Unlike a typical car or fleet van, the ATV had very limited flat surface area, and several different materials on which adhesive vinyl needed to be installed. We were tasked with keeping the design theme consistent with Regions EMS traditional cars and SUV’s, but our “canvas” presented limiting factors. The client was gracious enough to let us take possession of the vehicle for an few days, which was allowed us to obtain accurate measurements and test adhesion on different surfaces on the vehicle before finalizing the design of the custom vehicle wrap and moving to fabrication and installation. All of the vinyl used on this ATV wrap was reflective, which, along with the emergency lights that were subsequently installed, will increase the visibility of this emergency vehicle. 
Through a combination of colored 3M reflective vinyl, and 3M printable reflective vinyl, we were able to create and install a series of decals consistent with Regions EMS’ existing design theme, while using a limited amount of material, which helped keep the job within a reasonable budget.
