Impression Signs and Graphics recently completed work on a fun project for a nearby business. Regions Hospital Emergency Medical Services located in Oakdale, Minnesota commissioned Impression Signs and Graphics to design and print several copies of a poster that recognizes 48 partner agencies in Region’s EMS services network as part of their 24th annual Wine Auction event to be held September 21, 2013 at the St.
Paul River Centre in St. Paul, Minnesota. Regions Hospital Foundation is presenting the event with the theme “Uncork your Support”. Attendees will enjoy a wonderful evening that includes opportunities to obtain some amazing wines, and one of the 1500 ticket holders for the event will win a 3 year lease for an Audi A4 sport sedan vehicle (winners need not be present to win). The poster design incorporated the sleeve patches from each partner agency, which includes police departments, paramedics/ambulance services, county sheriff’s offices, and fire departments. Each of these partner agencies provides critical life-saving support and protection for our surrounding communities.
The design process included a high resolution scan of each partner agency patch, detailed “clean up” of the borders of each patch, and resizing and alignment to arrive an outstanding finished product. The posters were printed using HP’s eco-friendly latex ink technology on HP’s 8 mil photorealistic paper, specifically designed to work with HP’s latex large format printers.
