Recently we were contacted by the HOA of Orange Tree, a golf club community in the Orlando area. They were inquiring about multiple signage options that they were wanting to update and possibly redesign. One of their wants was two exterior signs, one for the recreation building and the one for the residents entrance. They saw a previous job of ours and loved the sandblasted HDU look. Sandblasted HDU signs are definitely an option that gets overlooked when it is one of the most beautiful signage options out there. HDU allows you to get unique dimensional signs that have a carved wood texture but without the huge price tag.
When the HOA contacted us they wanted to know what their options were because they were inquiring about a few different signs, primarily the two exterior signs and an update for their monument sign. Our sales guy set up a time to go and talk to them and get a better grasp as of what they wanted and maybe some ideas they had but to also get measurements so we could make them some proofs. They had seen a sandblasted HDU sign that we had done a few months ago and loved it and thought it would be perfect for what they were wanting.
We then started designing a possible option for them and sent over what we thought could be perfect. They loved the overall look of the first design we created for them but wanted to change a few colors. After the 3rd proof they were ready to go with the design and the sandblasted HDU sign. Since HDU signs are very custom they can take a littler longer in production so we wanted to start right away so they could get their signs as quick as possible. Around 2 weeks later the signs were finished and looked amazing! The installation of both took around 6 hours and the HOA loved how it came out. Their monument sign is currently in production and both us can’t wait to see the finished product!
