A new store that opened in Florida Mall called Illesteva recently contacted us for signage needs before their grand opening. They were looking for window graphics, a lobby sign, some pictures printed onto foam board and some other little things, but the most important was their interior channel letter sign. "When I think about great service, its about how you take every interaction you have with the customer and use that as a way to improve their perception of your organization." - Jon Herstein, SVP of Customer Service at Box.  The initial site survey we took measurements for the interior channel letter and the window graphics, the store was under construction so we could take any of the measurements for the interior. We also got to take with the store manager, Melody, and the company owner, Alina to get a better grasp of what they were expecting out of us and our work. During site surveys it gives us an amazing opportunity to share with the customer our core values as a company, customer satisfaction and production quality is most important to us. The stores branding is very elegant and simple giving that "classy" look to it. The exterior of the store was going to be painted black so they wanted the channel letters to pop and be back lit. Once we had their art files we were able to scale the sign proportionally so we could give them an idea. After the first proof their feedback was to make it a little larger. After that proof they approved the sign and wanted to to start with production. The production phase for channel letters can take a few weeks due to permitting and production but when you add in electrical work it can take even longer. Getting this sign up for their opening was looking down mid way through the production phase because the mall was wanting more permits pulled before installation. We knew how important this sign was for Illesteva's opening day so our team worked very hard to make sure the deadline was met. After all the hard work we were able to get the sign installed the night before the opening! It took a total of 6 hours and our team working til 4am.
