We are excited to bring you this story today of a homeowner from Nashville, TN that had some questions they needed answered. These weren't just any questions, however. First, an explanation of what damp proofing is:

Damp proofing is a tar-based product that is applied to a building’s foundation walls and footing to deter water vapor from passing through the walls and into interior spaces.   Second, it is important to take into account the effectiveness and poor lifespan of this method. So we explained what waterproofing is:
