“We are open for takeout” banner
Today we are facing a situation we have never faced before with a virus for which we have no immunity. It threatens our well being, our health and our lives. It is having a huge impact on people across the globe and the economic impact of it all will only be seen in the future. In the meantime, communities and businesses are coming together to support each other and weather this storm with hopes that one day in the future our lives will go back to normal.
I thought a lot about what we can do to support other businesses and what products and services we can offer to help those essential businesses. At present, restaurants are pretty hard hit as they no longer are able to have guests sit in dining rooms. However, they are able to offer delivery and takeout. It started out with one restaurant needing a banner to let passersby know that their Toronto restaurant was open for takeout. That followed with a restaurant chain needing similar banners for their locations in Scarborough, Markham and Richmond Hill. Now we had a way to support businesses and also keep our employees working.
Clear Acrylic Barrier to protect front line staff
Another way we are able to help essential businesses is by helping them keep their employees safe. Front line workers are constantly exposed to others and the risk of them getting sick needed to be reduced. A property management company in North York was the first to approach us needing a signage solution to keeping their reception workers safe. We created a clear acrylic barrier which helped to protect their staff and clients living in the building. We are hoping to offer more essential businesses this vital safety barrier and help protect people.
As the situation with Covid-19 continues, we will continue to look for innovative ways we can help protect people and support businesses. The future is uncertain for many small businesses and we don’t know that the future holds for us either. What we do know is that we are resilient, we are kind, we are human and like everything, this too shall pass and we will get through this..together.
