Project: Dimensional Letters inside and Out Location: Cartersville, GA Client: Georgia Highlands College – Cartersville Campus We received a call from Georgia Highlands College's Campus in Cartersville, GA.  They were looking for a sign company that could help them improve the look of the campus during the summer to greet the students in the fall.  Signs & More designed, manufactured and installed sets of black dimensional letters plus a college seal in their colors on interior and exterior walls.  This article covers the project and includes pictures of the 3-D signs we made. These photos show the 3-D Logo and Letters that were installed on the building in the central courtyard by the American Flag. In addition to the academic building, this campus also includes recreational facilities, a “grab and go” food service area, campus club space and an enlarged bookstore.  Since 1970, Georgia Highlands College has served the citizens of Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama. Founded as Floyd Junior College, it now serves more than 5,300 students in the region.  It became a limited-mission, four-year state college in May 2011. When Georgia Highlands College approached us to work on this project, they were not sure exactly what they wanted in the way of letters.  But they knew what they wanted to mark and what they wanted to say.  We provided them with proofs showing what different colors and layouts of letters would look like.  We suggested they use the same font that is used in their logo for consistency.  After they selected the proofs, we put the letters into production.  All of the letters were installed with studs to provide 1) security to the wall on the exterior letters and 2) ability to remove the letters, repaint the wall and replace the letters in the same position after the letters have been there long enough for the walls to need new paint.  All of the letters are solid acrylic and carry a lifetime warranty. When our customers are not certain of how to do their project, our graphic designers get their heads together to provide ideas for the customers to review.  Our Proofs are to scale on photos of the customer’s area(s) where the signs will go.  This way not only can the customers choose what they like best, but there are no surprises when the signs are installed.  The Signs look just like the Proofs. So when you are ready to purchase signs and want to see exactly what they will look like, call us to get Proofs of your soon to be signs.  We are often told that the signs even look better than the proofs in real life than on a piece of paper.
