Project: Changing Name on Brushed Bronze Lobby Sign
Location: Atlanta, GA
Client: Caldwell, Propst & DeLoach, LLP
In 2011, Caldwell & Watson, LLP asked us to design and install an upscale Lobby Sign for their customers to see when they entered their office. It is important for a law office to instill confidence in their clients. A set of brushed bronze letters offset from a wall is an impressive site.
Recently, the law firm contacted us to tell us that their name had changed to Caldwell, Propst & DeLoach, LLP.
In the Image below, you can see the original brushed bronze letters on the wall standing off ½”. It is an impressive entrance sign.
This is the New sign, using the old letters to fill in where we could and adding the new letters. Note that you cannot tell the difference between the 4 year old and new letters. With more letters, the new Lobby Sign is even more impressive than it was before.
Caldwell, Propst & DeLoach, LLP in Atlanta, GA is a leading law firm for Estate, Trust and Fiduciary Litigation, as well as for estate planning and probate administration. The firm consists of 11 lawyers, all of whom share the same commitment to meticulous case preparation, creative use of the law, hard work, and delivering value to the client. The firm attributes its litigation successes to a commitment to these goals and ideals.
When Caldwell, Propst & DeLoach, LLP approached Signs & More for the name change, we worked with them to reuse some of their letters and just make the new ones that were not in the original name. We designed the sign to use their letters and manufactured only the extras. Then we made a pattern to include the new and used letters. After the original letters were removed, the wall was repaired, fixing the holes from the first set of letters. We installed the letters with studs and spacers to give them a ½” standoff from the wall. After installation, the letters look great together in spite of the 4 years between manufacturing!
When Signs & More manufactures and installs Lobby or Reception Signs, we make them so they can be moved or removed for painting, etc. In this case, we were able to redo a sign using some of the old parts and due to the quality of the letters, you cannot tell the old from the new. This type of approach saves our customers money over time – both from the overall quality of the products and the ability to reuse parts later in time.
