Have you ever driven by a sign and wondered "What was that sign trying to sell or say?"  Not because you are speeding or nearsighted, just because the writing was too small for that location. 

If signs have a recognized brand such as the Coke wave, a Cow or the Nike swoosh, the messages can be inferred by the reader.
