February weather can be unpredictable to say the least.  This year the conference and convention photographers of Caught in the Moment Photography observed that one of the conferences for which they were providing the photography services was more reminiscent of a conference or convention taking place in San Francisco, CA.  The weather in San Francisco at this time of the year is more predictable than that in Southern California where this particular conference was taking place.  The professional event planners responsible for organizing and coordinating the services for a conference and convention can pretty much count on the fact that an outdoor special event related to the conference or convention is not going to take place in San Francisco during February, but the professional event planners that were responsible for coordinating and planning this particular conference were dealing with a convention center in Southern California where the weather should have been more predictable than it turned out to be. [caption id="attachment_1837" align="alignright" width="300"] A San Francisco Hilly Streetwith a cable car.[/caption] Thankfully the convention center has ample areas that can be activated into event spaces and the conference can proceed; perhaps without as many outdoor special events but there are still plenty of networking opportunities which is one of the primary reason that conference attendees attend the conference or convention.  Regardless of where the special events related to the conference or convention are taking place, whether indoors or outdoors. Regardless whether the conference is taking place at a convention center in Southern California or in the San Francisco area, the conference and convention photographers of Caught in the Moment Photography are willing and ready to provide the photography services.
