There are many different venues available in DC, from large convention centers to small intimate spaces.
  2. Get the necessary permits if these are required for the type of special event you are planning. Once you have chosen a location, you will need to obtain the necessary permits from the city. The process for obtaining permits can vary depending on the type of event you are planning. Be sure to start the permitting process early.
  3.
