Project: Special Event Photography Coverage at Conference

There are many reasons why the resorts and casinos in Las Vegas attract millions of conventioneers and conference attendees each year. One of those reasons is the versatility and flexibility of the special event venues. There are dozens of resorts and casinos in Las Vegas, but even within each one of these there is a wide variety of flexible spaces where convention and conference organizers can plan to hold their special event; so that they are not confined to the space designated as the convention center area of the resort and casino.
As a case in point, this brief article will describe the experience of the conference and convention photographers of Caught in the Moment Photography recently provided all of the photography services for a national trade association who was holding their annual conference at the convention center situated within the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The conference and convention organizers wanted to hold a special networking event in a setting that was different from the setting that the conventioneers and conference attendees had grown accustomed to as the conference progressed within the area designated as the convention center area of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. This special event was to be a networking event where the conference attendees could exchange pertinent information related to the national association to which they belong but in a more casual setting. Having a wide selection of partner restaurants within the footprint of the resort and casino allowed for the conference attendees and conventioneers to feel as though they were removed from the convention center area but were close enough so that the transit time was only a few minutes walk but they could feel as though they were in a completely different special event venue.
