The photographers at Caught in the Moment Photography recently did the photography for a same-sex wedding at the Hotel Maya in Long Beach, CA that was a beautiful in all senses of the word.  The meeting planner provided for the couple by the Hotel Maya executed her duties beautifully in that all the planning was so well done ahead of time that the only thing to there was to be concerned about on the wedding day was quite literally the only thing that cannot be controlled, the weather. For our beautiful couple though everything, including the beautiful Southern California weather, cooperated to make their wedding truly special.  They decided to have a beach wedding, on the sand, and of course the Hotel Maya has just the right space on the venue grounds to not only allow for a beach wedding but it also provides stunning views of Downtown Long Beach. The size of their party lent itself perfectly to have the reception in one of the event salons with patio so extensive that all of the seating space was on the patio and the actual salon was only used as a dancefloor. With this one-two combination the couple were able to get the most of what the Hotel Maya is best known for, their outstanding service and their prime location allowing for a beachside wedding on the sand and panoramic views of Downtown Long Beach all in a boutique resort setting. Although the photographers at Caught in the Moment Photography photograph weddings all over the Los Angeles Area and Southern California, in general we are pleased to be one of the preferred wedding and special events photographers at the Hotel Maya in our hometown of Long Beach, CA.
