Caught in the Moment Photography is one of the premier wedding photographers in Long Beach, CA and the surrounding areas. As such whenever there are special press articles, special reports, etc. related to weddings in the Long Beach Area we receive phone calls and requests for interviews to comment in either the state of the wedding business or to comment on specific venues and or vendors.
As a case in point we recently received a request for comment on exotic or out of the ordinary wedding venues in Long Beach. We began the interview with a disclaimer of possible conflict of interest because our photography studio is on many of the premier wedding venues in Long Beach, so therefore any of the recommendations and opinions that we would be giving would more than likely include one or more of the wedding venues whose staff actively recommends our photography studio as a wedding photographer.
After some back and forth regarding all the positive reasons to hold a wedding in Long Beach, sure enough we commented on the obvious “exotic” location to hold a wedding, right on the sand on the beach. We of course had to mention that the City of Long Beach likes to be aware of the goings on on its beaches and as such there are permits that need to be requested and obtained before putting on an event on the beach. It was then that we brought up two of our favorite locations that are quintessential wedding venues in Long Beach, the Hotel Maya and the Queen Mary.
We apologized to the writer because we knew that the publication wanted to be edgy and present some out of the ordinary wedding venues, but we just had to point out all the different areas that can be activated to hold events at the Hotel Maya and Queen Mary.
