Banner framw                                                                 Banner frames come in a variety of shapes and sizes. The use of promotional and informational vinyl banners for outdoor advertisement or indoor use at trades shows and other marketing campaigns is evident everywhere.  These temporary 'billboards' can be made to be attractive and unique, are affordable, durable and eye-catching if properly utilized.  With correct care, these banners can have a long life and continue to look good for a long time.  Proper mounting, handling, cleaning and storage will all determine how long a vinyl banner lasts and how long it will continue looking good. Mounting or Hanging Display options for banners include hanging, mounting on a stand, mounting in a frame or using as a backdrop.  For hanging, built in grommets can be used to attach the sign by employing ropes, zip ties or bungee cords.  Avoid making your own hanging holes, as this runs the likelihood of damaging the vinyl banner. There are many types of banner stands that serve a multitude of purposes. When a banner is meant to stay in place for any length of time, banner frames will keep it taut and readable. Cleaning Your Banners Most vinyl banners are made from a thick, durable PVC material that is strong but susceptible to damage from any harsh chemicals.  When they become dirty, especially when used outside, they usually only require being wiped with a soft, wet cloth.  If this isn't enough, try a mild soap and water solution made from dish washing liquid.  No strong chemicals or abrasives should be employed as this will likely damage the banners.  Banners should be washed and thoroughly dried before storing. Proper Storage of a Vinyl Banner Proper storage is vital to keeping a vinyl banner looking good and lasting a long time.  Banners should never be folded or creased, as this may leave a permanent line.  They are best rolled up, ink side out, and stored in a cardboard tube.  They should be placed in a low traffic area for storage, to avoid them being knocked or moved around excessively, and the storage space should be cool and dry.  If they are exposed to direct sunlight or high temperatures while in storage this could cause the ink to degrade and for the banner to lose its sheen. With proper care, a vinyl banner may be used over and over again and still look like new.  Companies and organizations employing the use of banners have realized the positive effect they have in their promotional capabilities, but using a vinyl banner that has become dingy and dull will detract from its effectiveness and also cast a negative light on the promoter.  If you take good care of your banners, they will certainly take care of you.
