Francois Collective is an Interior Design firm located in Culver City, California. One of their recent projects included renovating an apartment complex, COAST Apartments, in Redondo Beach. The client wanted to install a monument sign on one of the corners of the property so Francois Collective was looking for a sign company that had the ability to manufacture, permit, and install monument signs. They found us on Yelp and reached out to us with some inspiration photos to get started. The customer wanted a specific look, and they wanted to be able to display information that could be changed easily.
The main part of the monument sign is made from custom painted synthetic stucco. The apartment name and the address were made from raised lettering that was painted bronze. Metal-finish paint is very popular for signage because metal paint gives a high-end look without the metal cost. Durability is not an issue because the letters are painted and then baked. We also offer powder coating which just has less color options. With paint, we can mix colors to get as close as possible to the color you want for maximum customization. We added four zip tracks and provided them with eight inserts for the website, management’s phone number, and the different types of units they have. The inserts were made from .080 white aluminum and black vinyl lettering.
After we secured the permit, we were able to start manufacturing and install the sign. We also added concrete footing that was required by Engineering. The new sign looks great, and is sure to attract new tenants to the newly renovated apartment complex. Are you looking for a new monument sign for your business?
