We’ve made many signs for Supercuts in the Los Angeles area. This was a new location opening in San Fernando, California that needed a storefront sign, and door graphics. As Supercuts is a franchise, there is a set design that we are very familiar with. Most of the signs are front-lit channel letters and the only thing that changes is the size. The allowable sign size is based on the storefront width along with other guidelines from the landlord or property manager. There are a few reverse-lit channel letters we’ve made for Supercuts, but they are usually front-lit channel letters which means that the faces are translucent and there are LEDs inside of the letters that shine through the front of the letters through the faces. These signs were made from red acrylic faces, black trimcap, black returns, and red LEDs. We handle the design if needed, manufacturing, permitting, and installation for exterior storefront signs.
They also wanted to display the logo, website, and hours on their storefront, so we made and installed a white vinyl graphic on the glass door. Logo repetition is important for a company, along with contact information and hours in case someone comes by the salon during off hours.
