Uniform tenant signs are key to good wayfinding for your office building. We've done many signs for Westlake North Business Park for our client IDS Real Estate Group who manages the building along with other buildings in the surrounding area. When a new tenant moves in, moves out, moves suites, or changes names, the signage in the building needs to be updated to reflect the change to not only make sure that the tenants are happy, but to also make sure that visitors of Westlake North Business Park can navigate through the building easily. As you can see from the photos, we were updating signage for Paysafe:group, a tenant of the building. The two main tenant signs in the building are the directory sign in the lobby that lists each tenant and their respective suite numbers, and the suite identification signs that are installed next to the door of each suite to identify the suite number and the tenant in that suite. Our client, IDS Real Estate Group, needed us to provide a new clear panel for one suite ID sign and just vinyl for another. Signs like office ID signs or tenant ID signs are usually made in two parts; a permanent piece that stays on the wall, and a panel that is removable that displays information that can change. This way, we don't have to replace the entire sign every time information needs to be updated, we can just replace the clear panel as it is less expensive than the marble backer panels. For the sign for suite 180, all we needed to do was create a vinyl graphic for the tenant's name and install it on the existing sign. The directory sign is also made in a similar way. The sign has the business park's logo at the top and IDS Real Estate Group's logo and information at the bottom. This information is not likely to change if ever. But the tenant information can always change, so each line is a separate strip that we can remove and re-arrange as needed.
