Just recently, we received a call from Nordhoff Veterinary Hospital in Chatsworth, CA. We were more than happy to go out and discuss their signage needs with them. Their veterinary hospital is right around the corner from us, and even though Nordhoff St. is a major thoroughfare in the San Fernando Valley, their logo is colorful, eye-catching and does a great job at getting your attention. Exactly what you're looking for amidst all the busyness.
They have a large sign in their parking lot, which they wanted to be updated. During our conversation, they said they thought a new lobby sign would also be beneficial. As you can see in the image, they were right. Because of all the wall space behind the front desk, we knew that would be the perfect place to display a large logo sign.

As Nordhoff Veterinary Hospital wanted to stay true to their existing logo, we agreed on a custom painted acrylic sign. Anytime we already have a master logo file for you, we can go ahead and create logo colors that match perfectly. Here, we used two custom colors with an attractive gloss finish.
For this lobby sign, we started with 1/4” thick acrylic for the flat-cut letters and parts of the logo. The different sections and pieces were custom painted. For the portion of the sign that reads “VETERINARY,” we made a panel shaped into a rectangle with rounded corners. The letters were applied with white vinyl. The shapes of the dog and cat were also created in white vinyl. We used VHB tape to mount the lobby sign onto the wall.
Of the options available for the acrylic sign, and client chose to go with the white options. Now, when clients come into Nordhoff Veterinary Hospital, they see a professionally designed lobby sign which makes a real improvement in the lobby area.
