A thought leader in the business of precision machining for the aircraft and related sectors, SON-AERO’s offices are located in Anaheim. The client wanted a way to impress visitors and underscore their niche as soon as someone walked through the door. Aircraft are among the most impressive images for this industry; a fighter jet fits perfectly in the lobby space. We printed the graphic in black and sepia tones. It makes the intricacies of the design much more visible than in a full-color print.
With the printed vinyl in hand, our technicians prepared the wall and installed it. The client also asked us to fabricate several blade and gate signs that will direct incoming traffic at the facility. However, the client will install themselves as they are setting up the shipping and receiving areas.
Floor-to-Ceiling Wall Wraps are Ideal for the Offices of Tech Companies
The project we undertook for SON-AERO is part of a growing trend. The offices where technology brand representatives meet with customers and visitors are no longer an afterthought. Rather, they are becoming an integral element of a company’s brand-building efforts.
A case in point is Dante Valve, which recently remodeled its offices in Bellflower. This client asked us to feature the brand’s core values as a floor-to-ceiling wall wrap. Moreover, they asked us to incorporate its brand colors for additional impact. Another client, Aldridge Electric, requested several wall wraps. They focus visitors’ attention on the company’s history and future. These wall wraps are focal points that showcase the history of electrical contracting.
What Goes Into the Design of Brand-Focused Wall Wraps in Anaheim and Other Orange County Cities?
There is a lot more that goes into the design, fabrication, and installation of a successful wall wrap than meets the eye. Let’s take a closer look.
-
Measurements. Sure, you already knew that the wall had to be measured correctly. However, did you also know that the locations of the cutouts for outlets, trim, and doors must be precisely positioned? Make a mistake here and key elements of the graphic will be lost.
-
Fabrication. Our team uses late-model equipment to print floor-to-ceiling wall wraps. One of the most important considerations is to avoid placing faces, logos, and text across panel seams.
-
Surface preparation. Printed vinyl will forgive smaller wall problems. However, it will not stick to painted surfaces unless the paint has cured for at least 2 weeks. Besides that, the walls should be as smooth and clean as possible. Sometimes, our technicians spend as much time preparing the wall as installing the finished wall wrap.
