The last time we were at Amazon’s LGB3 facility, we put up a huge wall graphic featuring a quote about teamwork. We installed it on the elevated wall that every employee sees when they walk in. This time, we worked on the other side of this wall. It now features postcard-themed wall graphics in Eastvale. This is the view employees see as they are leaving the building.
When we discussed this project with the client, they requested images that would be unique to Eastvale. Because this location used to be a major dairy farming community, we proposed using a farm theme, adding Amazon delivery vans, incorporating a map of Eastvale with the site’s location marked, and, of course, putting in the giant squid, the facility’s mascot.
A Closer Look at Postcard-Themed Graphics
We initially worked on a postcard theme at Amazon’s LGB7 facility in Rialto. At that time, the wall graphic design incorporated high-resolution photos of the area’s most famous sites. Our graphic artist sized them and put them into the large block letters that created the postcard look. We did something similar for Eastvale; however, these images are stylized and did not require the use of actual photographs.
Of course, the postcard theme is not limited to wall graphics and decals. For Amazon’s Rialto facility, our technicians also created vinyl graphics for wrapping commercial tabletops. We used 8-mil-thick textured floor laminate that would last a long time and not scratch even with ongoing use. Interestingly, we had previously used the postcard-style image combination when designing “coming soon” window graphics to announce the opening of a new gastropub in Santa Ana.

Social Media Friendly Destination Vibes With a Nostalgic Feel
The postcard theme is catching on. It combines brand storytelling with iconic destinations. Businesses can use them to celebrate the place where their company is located, or use them to underscore the location where it was founded. Blank walls transform and become Instagram-ready backdrops. And, because these images are so photogenic, they are ideal for customer selfies, team photos, and similar organic social media posts.
Because you can use high-resolution photos, stylized images, or combinations of the two, your company can present its brand message without it looking like an advertisement. For example, playfully present your logo, highlight your brand values through themes, or tell your story with a selection of iconic images.
