TN Investments, a long-time client, needed additional heavy-duty pole banners in Orange County, CA, to advertise their Fountain Valley apartments. For this project, the client requested five new pole banners that we installed using our bucket van. When fabricating the custom pole banners, our technicians used 18-ounce vinyl with welded hems. Why?
Heavy-Duty Custom Pole Banners are Durable and Maintain Their Good Looks for a Long Time
You already know that TN Investments successfully uses pole banners to advertise apartment vacancies and amenities in the OC. What are the other reasons that this client continues to entrust us with these banner projects?
- Durability. The 18-ounce vinyl we use is thicker and stronger than the standard 13-ounce material many other shops rely on. It makes the pole banners more resistant to tearing, fading, and wearing from wind, rain, and sun exposure. It is fair to say that 18-ounce vinyl is ideal for long-term outdoor use.
- Welded hems. Our technicians reinforce the material’s strength with welded hems. Welded hems fuse the edges of the banner using heat, creating a stronger seam than stitched or taped hems. Sewing hems causes perforations, which eventually can lead to ripping in high winds. (By the way, welded hems also look better.)
- Wind resistance. Heavier vinyl material and welded edges help the banner stay taut and stable. By reducing flapping in the wind, you reduce the risk of the banner being torn loose.
Advertising and Branding With Pole Banners for Apartment Communities
Our manufacturing makes pole banners an excellent advertising method. If you prefer, we can add pole pockets and wind slits to manage wind stress in high-wind environments further. The strong material prevents fraying and increases resistance to high wind loads, which is especially important when banners are mounted on poles like our client wanted.
These banners typically last much longer because they are highly resistant to fraying, fading, and ripping, offering a better return on investment for long-term or repeated campaigns. Additionally, the 18-oz material combined with welded hems is better suited for large-format banners, where strength and stability are critical.
What Could You Advertise or Brand With Heavy-Duty Pole Banners in Orange County?
Our client manages an apartment complex with various amenities. However, property managers are not the only businesses looking to take advantage of poles at their locations. Car dealers find banners to be effective; the same goes for schools. For example, we worked with Hope International University on designing, producing, and installing pole banners for the school sports program.
