Case Study: Hajoca in Westminster
Located at 7494 Garden Grove Boulevard, Hajoca has been in business since 1858. The company specializes in plumbing fixtures, power tools, and water filtration systems. When opening this latest location, the client determined that window wraps would be instrumental in advertising products and services.
Our team visited the location and took extensive measurements. Meanwhile, our graphic artist worked with the client’s specs to design the displays for the various window panes. Because the client wanted to install see-through window graphics, we opted for a perforated vinyl material with a 70/30 perforation pattern.
On installation day, our technicians cleaned and prepared the windows and installed the perforated vinyl. Next, they carefully added an optically clear laminate that more than doubles the life of these graphics. It also makes it easier to see out when it rains and prevents dirt and dust from getting trapped in the perforations.
Why Don’t More Sign Companies Offer Optically Clear Laminate to Their Customers?
Whenever we do see-through window graphics for storefronts, offices, and other businesses, we offer the client the addition of an optically clear laminate. Why do so many other shops neglect this option?
In simplest terms, it is more difficult. Installing graphics with 30% punched out is already tricky. Measurements must be exact, and there is little room for error on installation day. However, adding an optically clear cast laminate frequently exceeds the abilities of many installers. Air can get trapped in the perforation holes, meaning the entire window pane must be redone.
Our installers are cut from a different cloth. We do not look for the easy way to do things, but for the right way. And greatly extending the useful life of these perforated window graphics is certainly the right way.
