Founded in 1972, Haaker Equipment Company has built its reputation for being the go-to when customers need heavy-duty equipment. Recently, this client needed new 3D building signs in Los Angeles, and our team was glad to assist with the project.
Custom Acrylic Building Signs Replace Weathered, Outdated Signage
The client had three building signs at its location. These consisted of weathered foam signs that were degraded significantly from consistent sun exposure. Moreover, since the client had recently updated the corporate logo, these signs were also outdated.
During our site survey, we discussed using acrylic instead of foam. It would add useful life to the signs, which would have to withstand the constant sun exposure. The client agreed, and our technicians fabricated one-inch-thick letters that we painted using the company’s color palette. We paid close attention to the red inset pieces of the logo portion.
While the fabrication was going on, another team removed the old sign elements from the client’s facade and made necessary repairs. Similarly, our office team secured the needed permits to put up the sign. When all was in place, we returned to the facility and installed the custom building signs at the warehouse.
3D Building Signs in Los Angeles, City of Industry, and Beyond
The Superior Signs and Graphics team does a lot of work for companies that need three-dimensional building signs. We work with different types of materials to meet our clients’ individual needs.
A good choice is PVC, which is ideal for clients wanting huge 3D building signs, as well as those whose facades have a curvature that the sign needs to conform to. Aluminum is also a good option for the client needing a non-illuminated building sign with a pronounced 3D appearance. Because aluminum is lightweight, it works well on facades where extensive anchoring is not a good option.
