When you are a thought leader in your field, your interior signs must follow suit. King Tek, the OC’s electrical discharge machining leader, is a case in point. When the company’s management team determined that it was time to upgrade the brand message of its foyer, they contacted our shop to assist with frosted acrylic lobby logo signs in Anaheim CA.
Creating an Attractive Atmosphere in the Client’s Lobby with Customized Signs
In fact, our technicians put together a combination of customized signs with the client’s interior decor in mind.
Acrylic panel. For the main lobby sign, we cut a frosted acrylic panel. Next, we overlaid it with die-cut graphics that spell out the company’s name and present the logo portion. For the installation, the client opted for brushed aluminum standoffs. With the images mounted to the top of the surface and the frosted acrylic right behind it, the standoffs allow for an attractive display of light and shadow play that underscore the depth.
Wall lettering. We continued the theme of the company’s corporate persona by repeating the name and logo in full color in the conference room. However, we did not use an acrylic panel, but instead, we cut the elements from high-quality vinyl.
Door graphics. The final graphics product was the installation of the door graphics. Once again, they replicate the lobby sign and display the corporate persona in full color. Mounted at eye height, these letters immediately set the tone for the customer entering the office. With this first exposure to the brand message at the entrance level, the consumer already recognizes the color palette and brand story when entering.
Logo Board or 3D Letter Lobby Signs?
King Tek chose to feature its corporate persona as a logo board. It installs with standoffs, looks chic, and allows for a full-color display that incorporates the company’s symbol. As a general rule of thumb, clients favor this lobby signage setup with limited space. Another reason for selecting this display is when you want to take advantage of mixed media products.
Three-dimensional letters are popular when the walls are long or tall. Our technicians adjust the spacing of the letters, which lets us cover a larger portion of the surface. Another good reason for the selection of 3D letters is an uneven wall. Using pin mounts, we can adjust for bricks or stones that jut out at different depths.
Besides that, there are aesthetic reasons for these letters. For example, some clients have had excellent success using pin mounts of varying lengths. We can imitate the movement of a wave by installing the letters in this way.
