Sometimes, business comes from having a great experience with a vendor. A case in point is

The client identified several problems with the old cabinet sign. Its electrical wiring was not working correctly, which meant that the sign did not light up. Rather than spending the money on an electrical repair as well as a refacing of the product with a fresh acrylic sheet,
we recommended doing an LED retrofit.

Not only would this save the client money, but it also led to a much more functional signage setup. Because the sign is massive – it measures 30 feet in width and three feet in height – the change would be highly noticeable.

Our technicians began the project by dismantling the old polycarbonate facing. Next, we uninstalled the failing electrical wiring. The team then cleaned the old box cabinet and made minor repairs to its surfaces. The new LEDs and their wiring went in next. The last step was the integration
of a new acrylic front with 3M translucent cut vinyl for the graphics and lettering.

It is interesting to note that the most advantageous installation angle was from the company’s roof. Because we have our bucket van for these types of projects, it was easy to guide the panel installation. Once finished, the sign was easily visible from the nearby I-5 freeway.
Now, HOSE-MAN can look forward to getting plenty of use out of this sign. LEDs last for a long time and will cause the sign to light-up on schedule. Besides that, they are much cheaper to operate than other illumination options.
