Cal State Fullerton is a repeat customer of Superior Signs and Graphics. When the client needed Etched and Frosted Glass Graphics for Offices and Conference Rooms in Orange County CA! in Fullerton CA, they contacted our sign shop for assistance.
Treating Conference Room Doors with Frosted Glass Graphics
These conference rooms are available to students and faculty members via a sign-up process. To protect the privacy of meeting participants and assist with staying on task during limited periods, the school decided it was time to obstruct the view inside. In addition, the glass graphics make it possible to name each room, which assists with wayfinding.
We took stock of the project and learned that it would require the treatment of 25 doors. For each entry, we treated the upper half of the glass. It would feature a large frosted surface with etched decorative details as well as the room name designation. The finished result is a professional look that perfectly combines form with function.
What Could You do with Frosted and Etched Door Graphics?
If you are doing business out of a contemporary office space, there is a good chance that you have plenty of glass in your location. Frequently, the conference room is glass-enclosed. While this significantly improves the optics of the office space, it does detract from privacy and productivity. It is easy to get sidetracked when there is so much happening on the other side of the glass.
Many business managers have, therefore, chosen to add vinyl window graphics that obstruct the view inside the room. Typically, these designs take on one of three different appearances.
- Upper third. Treating the upper third is a popular solution for most conference rooms. It makes it virtually impossible to see the faces of seated participants. Even so, the table and chairs are clearly visible. Therefore, it is easy to ascertain if someone is currently using the room or if it is vacant.
- Middle third. The middle third treatment works well when you want to obstruct the view of the table, too. This could be the case when you frequently deal with sensitive papers that you do not wish onlookers to see. For this reason, treating the middle third of the glass is a favorite option of law and accounting firms.
- Entire glass treatment. You have various options open to you when treating the whole glass pane. The majority of business clients request a frosted vinyl glass wrap with enhancements. They might include etched versions of the company’s name and logo for each pane. Others might ask us to imprint the information with colorful ink, which creates a visually stunning counterpoint to the gray tones of the vinyl.
