Deliver-It is California’s go-to solution for same-day or overnight deliveries. The business works with gift basket companies, medical supply venues, and a broad range of financial and real estate firms. With a service area that includes California, Arizona, and Nevada, the logistics have to be on point. Because the hub of the scheduling takes place locally, the firm asked our sign shop for assistance with a custom foam lobby sign with brushed metal face.
Presenting a Brand Message in Style
Make no mistake; the sign for Deliver-It is huge. After consulting with the client, we learned that the company could not locate its vector file that would allow us to print the logo portion without pixelation. Without this file, it would be impossible to get the logo portion of the signage right. Could we help the client out? Of course!
In fact, we run into this problem a lot. For this reason, our graphic designer has perfected the art and science of the logo recreation process. In less than one hour, he was able to redo the company’s logo in the ideal file format. From there, we put together the sign using foam.
This material is impressive. It allows for depths of up to three inches, which results in the manufacture of large signs with a stunning 3D look. For Deliver-It, we clad the material with brushed metal. Now, the sign contrasts beautifully against the black accent wall surface to which we mounted it.
Foam is an Excellent Sign Material
Sign foam is immensely versatile. It comes in a range of different densities, which determine what uses you might have for the product. For example, if you only need a short-term sign for a building front, you would select a lower density, which saves you money. If you were at the beginning of a lease, you would pick the higher density, which coaxes a longer lifespan out of the product.
Of course, you do not have to limit yourself to just one type of manufacturing. Because foam comes in different makeups, we can cut it, work with a router, carve the product, or layer it. It is paintable, which makes it ideally suited for encapsulating your brand message.
You could actually commission an entire signage suite using foam. There could be routed sign foam for the building sign, dimensional foam letters for your lobby, and a foam monument sign with faux masonry or lumber. In the same way, consider adding wayfinding signs using foam to keep the uniform look of the signage setup intact.
