Splash! La Mirada Regional Aquatics Center is a city-owned facility. It features a water park for children, a lesson pool, and a 50-meter competition pool. The YMCA and other organizations frequently reserve the venue for swim meets. When city officials needed new
custom made building lettering in La Mirada CA, to identify the place, a representative contacted Superior Signs and Graphics for assistance.
New Aluminum Building Letters Identify a Popular Water Park
We worked with city officials to design lettering that would match the look of the nearby City Hall. Our team began with a 3/8-inch-thick aluminum sheet. We cut it in the shape of the lettering to identify the facility’s full name as well as street number. Next, we added a dark blue powder-coated finish that allows for a color match with the adjacent government building.
The installation was a bit of a challenge. We brought our bucket van,
which allows for façade installations without easy access. However, the water park’s recessed setting took it under a grove of trees. No problem! Our driver is a pro who carefully navigated the vehicle without damaging the trees. As a result, technicians were able to finish the installation as planned.
