Just recently, we worked with the Perez Construction Group in Chino. Phase one of the project took place inside. We designed, manufactured, and installed a dimensional letter lobby sign. Now, we completed phase two, which focused on a building sign.
A New Building and Lobby Sign Brand an Industry Leader
After we completed the lobby signage, we worked with the client on the design of the exterior marker. Our technicians used outdoor-rated foam that spells out the company’s name. Next, we mounted the letters to an aluminum composite panel. We had previously painted the board in the business’ corporate blue logo color.
Now, the building’s front impresses with the dimensional letters that spell out the name and feature the corporate palette. As a customer enters the building, s/he notices the same name display on the inside, where white lettering contrasts well with a dark blue wall. The sign succeeds in supporting name recognition and the creation of brand awareness.
Why Choose Matching Indoor and Outdoor Signs
More and more members of the business community pay close attention to creating a perfect match between the signage that is on the building’s exterior and the foyer marker that is on the inside. Reception area signage has long been known as the calling card of your business. But when you create a perfect match, you start a brand message conversation with the customer on the outside, which you then continue inside.
Doing so has several advantages.
- Boost name recognition. Even if passersby do not need your services today, they might do so tomorrow. Moreover, they may be in a position to point out your presence to a friend or family member who needs them now. However, you can only capitalize on this level of name recognition if you place the information in tall, bold letters right there on your façade.
- Support brand awareness. Your brand is more than a combination of colors and fonts. It is a promise to your customers. It is the feeling that they get when they hear your commercial or read your mailers. It sets you apart from the competition in your field. That said, you communicate a reminder of the values you and your customers share with the fonts and colors you feature on your façade and lobby wall.
- Increase product knowledge. Do passersby know what your company is all about? The Perez Construction Group has its niche information built into the name. But for other businesses, it is the accompanying logo or a tagline that can make the difference. By displaying it as a new building and lobby sign, you ensure that consumers know what field you represent.
