Digitally printed wall murals not only add amazing scenery to the interior of your store, office or even home, but they are also uniquely customizable to suit your tastes, needs and location. Do you ever wonder what it takes to create the perfect backdrop? Just how are vinyl wall murals made? Your questions – answered!
It Starts with a Measurement
We want your location to look great. Rather than starting with a graphic, we start with a measurement. Being firm believers in the adage that it is better to measure twice and cut once, we take our time during this process. This is also the time that we discover any areas of the wall where we need to make allowances for protrusions or openings. Moreover, we consider the depth of the room and the distance to doors and windows. This influences our recommendation with respect to graphics choices.
Next, Choose a Graphic
There are no limits here. Do you prefer a colorful photo or a monochromatic rendition of an item? Do you like to have a painting reproduced or would you like a real photographic rendition of a subject? For example, a boulangerie owner may choose a photograph of a French street café. A wine store owner may prefer the detailed graphic depiction of grapes. Some of our clients already have photos or graphics that they would like to use. Others rely on our stock photo library to find the exact right image that will suit their needs.
Discuss Your Goals
Do you want to use the vinyl wall mural for branding? Are you thinking of creating a backdrop for shoppers who choose items off shelves that are placed in front of the wall graphic? Is this a purely decorative piece that will beautify a space? Once we know what you want to accomplish with the graphic, we can talk about how to integrate your company’s name and logo, how to size the piece and whether to repeat the image in other spots at your location.
Manufacture is Done by Our Trained Experts
Since you have chosen wallboard vinyl for your mural, we can print anywhere between just a few and more than 1,000 square feet of your desired graphic. Of course, before doing so, we send you a proof so that you can make last minute changes or additions. This is also the time to double check that you are happy with the color selection, the brightness and the overall appearance of the piece. After we get your go-ahead, we manufacture the mural.
Installation is the Final Step
We consider the installation to be part of the production process. After all, wall graphics are not completely in place and looking great until they have been professionally installed. We work with your schedule to find a time when the installation will least interfere with your business or other activities. Then, we prepare the wall and install the prints. There are no mismatched seams or color changes.
