Once my parents made the decision to open up a sign business, I knew that it was a good one. Although it took some time to get everything set up and to learn what there is to know about the business, the end result was satisfying. At Superior Signs and Graphics, our lives have changed considerably while taking care of our new company, but the site selection and set-up gave us a new adventure as well.
When the Superior Signs and Graphics new site was first put into our hands, it was nothing more than a strangely shaped office space with a large garage in a good location. It was our job to fix it up as we saw fit so that it would be able to accommodate the large format printing equipment, and computers necessary to run a sign printing business.
In the picture above is our new location before and after the transformation underwent to provide us with a showroom and production area. Walls had to be taken down in what is now the large production room. Walls also had to be constructed for an office area, and all of it painted, while we decided where to place our sign printing equipment and technology. Eventually the plans were set and the bland white walls had been changed to a more cheerful shade of gold.
The garage area also underwent a big change. This area now accommodates vehicles for wraps and commercial lettering, as well as storage for substrates, finishing tools and cutting area.
The Superior Signs and Graphics team then began to work hard to do the set-up and bring in all the supplies we would need to make our signs. Friends graciously donated some of their own office furniture and time to help us with our new endeavor. Overall we received a lot of support which allowed us to start off the new business on the right foot.
The Superior Signs and Graphics showroom and installation garage are now ready for business and we are making signs that help our customers get their message out! Thanks to all that have helped out!
